Implementation
The goal of Implementation support is to accelerate the development process, getting to the delivery date as quickly as possible, with fully functional software.
Use Existing Technology
One way to shorten development time is to use existing tools (a piece of self contained software that provides a specific service).
Finding the right tools requires good research skills, which I can provide, and I can help show the developers how to research existing tools, and distinguish what will work to shorten (accelerate) development time. I can also show the developers how to easily integrate these tools into their project.
Framework
The framework is the foundation of the application. It provides the underlying structure for the entire application. Appropriate frameworks also provide generic services used by more than one part of the application. A solid (rich in functions and well tested) framework can take months off the total application development because code does not need to be repeatedly rewritten and re-tested as it is used by different parts of the system.
I can help the developers build and test an appropriate framework.
Testing
Fully functional software runs smoothly and efficiently. There are two important kinds of testing – Quality Assurance to make sure the software performs the tasks it is supposed to perform correctly; and Benchmark Testing, which determines if the software meets its performance requirements. An automated test series ensures that the tests can be rerun at any time. This enables the developers to make changes and determine that their changes were effective and not detrimental to the remainder of the system.
I can help developers to create a series of automated testing.
