Object Oriented data modeling systems normally rely on base classes and derived classes. The base classes contain generic functionality and the derived classes contain manually written customizations for the data specific to the object type. Often times the customizations are routines that look nearly identical differing only by the names and types of the member data. When you begin multi tiered development the problem only multiplies as derived versions must be built for each tier.

Our object generation system takes a model describing the objects and their member data types and the system generates all of the derived objects for all of the tiers in one shot. Unlike other generation systems, ours provides for manual modifications of the generated code to be fully preserved through multiple generation cycles.
