These are from projects I’ve led or worked on directly. I don’t name the companies here; ask me if you’d like to talk through any of them.

From hourly production problems to under one a month

A financial services company came to me after seven previous firms had left it with hourly production issues, no documentation and little internal knowledge of its own systems. I overhauled six of its seven technology stacks three months ahead of a two-year deadline, migrating capabilities while production kept running. I also designed a lightweight microservice framework and trained the 14-developer team that runs it.

From four technology stacks to one

A global warehouse automation platform had four technology stacks across ten teams that couldn’t communicate. I consolidated them into one enterprise Java and Kubernetes platform, while also addressing severe shipment errors and restoring system health.

Order processing from 30+ seconds to under 2

Enterprise order processing systems were slow and depended on constant hot fixes. Response times dropped to under two seconds and releases deployed in under two hours, with an automated build pipeline managing database structures across 13 data centers and six time zones. Automated test cases grew from 700+ to over 1,500, running in under four hours.

1000% faster with 75% less code

A platform migration was two years behind schedule with a year-long ticket backlog. I installed a CI/CD pipeline for the product line, used performance tests to find the problems, and rewrote the code to be non-blocking, with an automated test framework reaching 90% code coverage. The team then cleared nearly 50 backlog tickets in two weeks.

Developer test clusters from 2 hours to 20 minutes

In an environment with 200 microservices, I designed cluster pooling, recycling and database restoration, which cut preparation time and lowered costs.

Four client integrations in under six months

A configurable data mapping engine replaced custom integration work, delivering interfaces to four different client systems in under six months.

Scaling and cost control for a hospitality company

I redesigned an intranet system to grow from 30 users to 700, and built a purchasing system that managed and tracked $20M a year in hotel operating costs and supplies during renovation.
